As a child I had a big box, as a giftfrom my father. It was full of slotted metallic parts and plenty of bolts and nuts. It was my favorite toy, because with it I created unbelievable things! 35 years ago, beginning work, I experienced the world of "slotted angle". A spare shelving system of limited bearing capacities, though with it we constructed mezzanines, roofs, shelters...

Things have changed, boxes turned into pallets, warehouses became enormous and automated. Modern shelving systems evolved rapidly but univocally, covering each time the already existing needs, and only. The challenge grew more and more strong. An entirely new system had to be designed from scratch. A system that would cover the needs of today in the best possible way, but also open new horizons, offering solutions to any construction of tomorrow.

New ideas had to be conceived. A "golden unit" had to be found, upon which every construction could develop. Solutions with combined cross-sections had to be given. The most clever profiles and spare parts had to be designed, and that's not all...

5 years of hard work, research with state-of-the-art simulation software, steel of optimal strength and surface finishing, use of the latest technology in the production process, numerous and exhaustive calculations on safety parameters, economy, flexibility and adaptability resulted in RC3, the total quality concept,
